Thermoplastic elastomers TPE(Thermoplasticelastomers), also known as TPS, is an embedded copolymer of butadiene or isoamylene and styrene, and its properties are close to SBR rubber.
Advantages of TPE encapsulation material:
1. It can effectively save energy and is an ideal material to replace rubber and silica gel.
2. The properties are relatively stable, with good temperature resistance (using temperature range -50-100℃), aging resistance, chemical resistance and solvent resistance. Excellent process performance.
3. Environmentally friendly, nontoxic and safe, with excellent coloring and soft touch. In the production process of TPE materials, no heavy metal components were introduced and no toxic phthalate plasticizer was added, which met the environmental testing standards of ROHS,REACH,EN71,PAHS and FDA. Good substitute for PVC.
4. Energy saving. Most TPE do not need vulcanization or the vulcanization time is short, the production efficiency is greatly improved and the molding cycle is short. Rubber has high elasticity and can be directly processed by injection molding.
5. It can be injected twice, coated and bonded with PP, PE, PC, PS, ABS and other substrates, or it can be molded separately.
