TPE is different from TPV:
1. TPV belongs to thermoplastic dynamic vulcanized rubber, while TPE belongs to thermoplastic elastomer. However, unlike SEBS base elastomer, TPV is divided into rubber elastomer.
2. TPV has better heat resistance than TPE. Generally, TPE has a high temperature resistance of 130-150 degrees Celsius! It will be aged and cracked again! ! It is recommended to use below 120℃. ! However, TPV can be used normally at-60℃ to+135℃, and can withstand high temperature up to +150℃ when it is not loaded.
3. TPV has better aging resistance and weather resistance than TPE, and the material of TPV sealing strip has longer service life.
TPE hardness ranges from 0A to 120A and TPV hardness ranges from 25A to 120A (70D). Compared with TPV, TPE has a wide range of soft hardness, with a minimum of 0A ultra-softness. Therefore, ultra-soft TPE is often used in the adult product industry.
