TPE Secondary Injection Encapsulated PP Material
TPE encapsulated PP series products are blends modified with SBS or SEBS as the main substrate and other additives. They can be designed to be transparent or natural colors. The hardness of TPE/TPR coated PP material is generally 20A to 90A, which can give the product a soft and comfortable touch, good shock resistance and increase the skid resistance of the product. In order to ensure the adhesive effect of encapsulation, when TPE is coated on PP surface by secondary injection molding, it is suggested that the injection molding processing temperature is 170~220℃, and the selection of suitable injection molding processing temperature will be affected by the material formula, processing equipment and mold design.
Features of TPE coated PP products: transparent or natural color, high weather resistance, foggy/semi-foggy surface, good hand feeling, rich rubber feeling, strong adhesion, soft and skid resistance, and high cost performance.
Use of TPE coated PP products: suitable for various types of PP handle parts to provide soft anti-skid function, including toothbrush handle, comb handle, razor handle, scissors, knife, all kinds of kitchen utensils handle, screwdriver handle, suitcase handle, clothes hanger, clip, gas mask and other wide-ranging uses.
