TPE/TPR coated ABS/PP material can give the product a soft and comfortable touch, good shock resistance, increase the skid resistance of the product, and the environmental protection of TPE material itself (non-toxic, halogen-free and free of carcinogenic substances such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons). TPE has various processing methods and can be molded by injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, tape casting and other methods. The material also has good resilience and flex resistance, and the application prospect of TPE material will be wider.
For TPE/TPR coated ABS, the hardness of PP material is generally 30-80 degrees. When TPE is coated on ABS and PP surface by secondary injection molding, it is suggested that the injection molding temperature is 180-220 degrees, the material formula, processing equipment and mold design will all affect the selection of suitable injection molding temperature.
