Introduction of TPE Coated ABS Materials; TPE is used to coat ABS, and TPE raw materials are coated and glued on the surface of ABS products by means of secondary injection molding, i.e. injection molding ABS first and injection molding TP E second. A good TP E material formula should ensure that TPE raw materials have excellent processability and material properties, and the most important thing is to ensure that TPE and ABS are firmly bonded. TPE-coated ABS material, raw material hardness ShoreA 40~80 degrees, representing hardness 60 degrees, TP E-coated ABS material characteristics: excellent fluidity, easy processing and molding, good adhesion with ABS plastic, good abrasion resistance and scratch white resistance. The appearance is translucent or natural plastic particles, the specific gravity of the material is 1.07-1.25, and the shrinkage rate is 1.6-2.0%. TPE raw materials are halogen-free, nonylphenol NP-free, plasticizer phthalate and salt-free, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons PAHs-free, and conform to ROHS,REACH,EN71 and ASTM F963 detection standards. Injection molding parameters of TPE-coated ABS: Secondary injection molding processing temperature: 170~220℃ (general SBS modified TPR processing temperature 170~190℃, SEBS modified TPR processing temperature 190~220℃), which should be adjusted according to product and mold design and actual product conditions. Drying temperature: 60~80℃/2h. The appearance effect of encapsulated products can be improved by baking materials.
