Properties of TPE Encapsulated Nylon, PA6, PA66 Raw Materials in Dechuang Chemical Industry

TPE-coated nylon [PA6,PA66 and fiber-added modification] material is a layer of soft TPE material coated on the surface of nylon material. It can be directly molded by secondary molding or double-color injection molding and has good adhesion with nylon material. Dechuang chemical TPE rubber-coated nylon material has a wide range of applications in nylon handle rubber coating, mainly including luggage handles, power tool handles, etc. Application of TPE Coated Nylon Handle Material on Luggage Handle The handle on the general case and bag needs to bear large gravity, and needs hard glue with high hardness and good toughness to support it from the material selection. Common hard glue materials for the handle include PP,ABS,PA, etc. The surface of the hard glue handle needs to be coated with a layer of soft glue to improve the comfort of the hand feeling due to poor hand feeling of the hard glue handle. Today, I'd like to introduce the TPE-coated nylon luggage handle. The Ge-plastic TPE-coated nylon luggage handle is mainly used for some high-end brands of handle coating, such as Swiss Army Knife, Samsonite luggage handle, etc. The common hardness is 60A-80A, and the hardness can be adjusted according to requirements. The nylon material is PA6 without fiber. The Ge-plastic brands GS 2060PA 6 and GS 1470PA 66 are recommended. The product features are as follows: both the two materials and nylon have ultra-high bonding effect, convenient coloring, comfortable hand feeling, excellent wear resistance and weather resistance, environmental protection and no pollution, convenient processing, and processing temperature range is 230-270 degrees. Application of TPE Coated Nylon Handle Material on Electric Tool Handle The nylon material used for the handle of electric tools commonly used in our life is toughened PA6 series material. In addition, a layer of soft TPE material will be coated on the surface of the nylon handle. The first is to increase the comfort of hand feeling, the second is to reduce shock and the third is to prevent slipping. Ge Su TPE adhesive coating material is also widely used in electric tool handles. The nylon adhesive position of electric tool handles is relatively thick, and holes are usually punched in nylon parts. Moreover, the adhesive requirement is not very high due to the large coating area. The recommended brand GF685-3 and GS70PA6 are economical and practical. The product features are as follows: good bonding effect with nylon, comfortable hand feeling, hardness in the range of 50-75A, convenient coloring, good acid and alkali corrosion resistance, excellent shock absorption, skid resistance and antistatic effect, environmental protection, no pollution, convenient processing, and processing temperature in the range of 210-260 degrees. TPE-coated nylon has very high requirements on viscosity. At present, there are still great technical difficulties for many TPE manufacturers to coat nylon TPE. Attention should be paid to the following matters during processing: 1. TPE materials and nylon products need to be dried before processing, and the drying temperature of TPE is preferably 100 degrees for 2-4 hours; 2. The injection temperature of TPE should be close to the injection temperature of nylon material during processing. The higher the temperature, the better the viscosity of the material. 3. In terms of product design, serrations or holes can be added to nylon products to increase the contact area between TPE and nylon and improve the viscosity.
