TPE, thermoplastic elastomer, English name Thermo-plastic elastomer. Usually refers to SEBS, SBS and softening oil, reinforced plastic resin, compatilizer, other additives and other blending modification granulation of composite polymer materials. The history of TPE production abroad is about 20 years earlier than that in China.
As for TPE raw materials, on the one hand, they are called by some users (also TPE materials, TPE particles, TPE elastomers, TPE soft rubber). On the other hand, some users think TPE produced abroad is original brand new material, called TPE raw material.
They think that TPE made by domestic TPE manufacturers is re-granulated, even understood as recycled granulated material, and think that foreign TPE is of better quality than domestic TPE. In fact, foreign TPE and domestic TPE are all the same, they are all compound compounds and all need to be granulated, except that most small factories use mixers and screws to plasticize, extrude and granulate, while a few large factories use linac machines to blend and plasticize, and then draw strips to cut grains.
In fact, all TPE thermoplastic elastomers, regardless of the product brand of foreign or domestic manufacturers, regardless of the name of the material, are actually blended granulated materials. Foreign and domestic TPE materials have the same quality in terms of the same specifications and application fields. However, the domestic TPE market, facing greater market pressure, may be able to better meet the customer's detailed performance and processing requirements due to more subdivision of product brands. Of course, some foreign TPE manufacturers, their high-end market TPE R&D and innovation, are still ahead of the domestic market, leading the world.
To sum up, whether imported TPE raw materials understood by users or domestic TPE granulation modified materials are actually the same type of materials, and there is no difference in terms of roughly blending system.

The TPE granules produced by screening, cleaning, crushing and re-granulating the corner nozzle and waste products are called TPE granules, also called TPE regenerated granules.
TPE granulation material is a composite polymer material obtained by compounding, plasticizing and granulating raw materials (such as SEBS, compatilizer, oil and auxiliary agent) of each component. This material has not been used for molding and processing, and is actually a modified new material. TPE pelletizing material is a kind of recycled material that is formed and processed materials are pelletized again (pelletized) into raw material particles. The performance is worse than TPE modified new materials, and the quality stability and reliability are worse.
