1. TPE encapsulated ABS material
The basic formula of tpe-ABS composite is SEBS+SEBS+TPU+ white oil+additive+filler. The specific formula is as follows, and the composition ratio is adjusted according to the actual cost and expected effect.
TPU has high hardness and poor flexibility, but TPU is a thermoplastic elastomer with strong polarity and has good adhesion with ABS polar engineering plastics. Adding modifier TPU into the formula can improve the polarity of TPE compound and improve the bonding force between TPE and ABS. Due to the high hardness of TPU (Shore A:82), adding TPU into the blend will increase its hardness, and with the increase of TPU content, the hardness of the material will continuously improve.
Application fields: various toolholders, handles, game controllers, electric toothbrushes, thermometers, audio knobs, electrical appliance housings, instrument housings, electronic scanner housings, etc.
2. TPE encapsulated pp material
PP is a kind of plastic with weak polarity, which is very close to the polarity of TPE of SEBS. All TPE soft rubber materials based on SEBS have good molding effect. The use of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) coating based on SBS is not recommended.
The hardness of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) coated PP is about 20 ~ 90A, and the colors are divided into black, natural and transparent particles. Polypropylene coated with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) can improve the hand feel and elasticity of products, improve the anti-skid performance of products and enhance the grip of products.
It is suggested that the reinjection temperature of thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) coated PP should be 180 ~ 220℃.
Application fields: Household products (such as combs, toothbrush handles, kitchen handles, tableware handles, hardware tools, etc.), folding trash cans, sports equipment, folding basins, luggage handles, kitchen utensils, folding bathtubs, tableware products, industrial casters, folding chopping boards, etc.
3. TPE encapsulated PA material
The results showed that the specific gravity of TPE was 1.04 ~ 1.06, the melt index was 18 ~ 28 g/10 min (5 kg, 190℃), the elongation at break was 126 ~ 294%, and the hardness was 30 ~ 80 (Shorea).
TPE composites have excellent physical properties and fluidity, and have good bonding effect with nylon. Injection molding is simple and adaptable. Applicable to nylon PA6, PA66, PA12, PA6+GF, PA66+GF.
Application fields: various household appliance housings, electric irons, electric tools, hand tools, instrument housings, two-color handles and other product fields.
4. TPE encapsulated ps material
The adhesion between thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and polystyrene (PS) is good and firm. The appearance is transparent or natural color particles, and the hardness can be selected in the range of 30~80A.
TPE sealant has rubber elasticity, good adhesion with polystyrene, wear resistance and scratch resistance. TPE sealant has the advantages of comfortable and smooth hand feeling, good fluidity and easy processing. TPE encapsulation does not contain halogen, nonylphenol NP, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and plasticizers 16p and 6p, which conforms to the latest RoHS and REACH directives.
