Thermoplastic Elastomer TPE- Advantages:
Can be processed by a common thermoplastic molding machine without special processing equipment. The production efficiency is greatly improved. Can be directly vulcanized by a rubber injection molding machine, and the time is shortened from about 20min to less than 1min; As the required vulcanization time is very short, it can be directly vulcanized by an extruder and the production efficiency is greatly improved. It is easy to recycle and reduce the cost. Waste materials generated in the production process (raw edge escaping, extrusion of waste glue) and waste products that eventually appear can be directly returned for reuse. Used TPE old products can be recycled after simple regeneration, reducing environmental pollution and expanding the source of renewable resources. Energy conservation. The self-reinforcing property is large, the formula is simplified, the influence of the compounding agent on the polymer is less restricted, and the quality performance is easier to master. However, TPE's heat resistance is not as good as that of rubber. As the temperature rises, the physical properties of TPE decrease greatly, thus its application scope is limited.
